Bad Knees & Elbows, Singing, Bike Rides and Taiko Drumming

Since my last post we have been fairly busy.

Have been looking at summer activities and also plans for next term.
We decided that we need to get the children involved in more outside activities, including Drama, Choir, Swimming Club, Netball and Dance, this is more for Becky, as Danny is concentrating on his Discus training, and also rugby training for next season.  All of these activities bar one are in our home town, which is very handy.

Also my report is due soon with the LEA, must proof read it and print it out.

Onto the weekend.

Mike had the weekend off, so on Saturday we went to my parents house, parked up, and walked into town along the River to watch Taiko Drumming in Rougemont Gardens.

Later we went to our local park, kids on their bikes, (Danny fell over the handle bars and hurt his elbow) and James and Becky went in the little paddling pool, well Mike got his feet wet a bit too

On Sunday we eventually got to Haldon Forest, after Mike had to change the tyre, which can take a while on a 4x4.  We had a lovely time, but Danny fell off his bike again, this time he badly hurt his knee, so is suffering at the moment and can barely walk.  He cant wait to get back on his bike again though

Today - Becky had her choir performance with Jackie Oates and a few other girls from the HE Group - they sounded really good together, and did extremely well .

Didnt make it to the HE Beach and Park Trip as Danny's knee was quite bad and James was a bit under the weather, hopefully make a trip with this group next week.

Hope you all have a good week.
Blessings
Lou x
